## Job Description

## Responsibilities
- Steward and evolve the services data schema & taxonomy, providing input on additions, shifts, and associated costs for sourcing and maintenance.
- Own and iterate the curation pipeline for sourcing, screening, and tagging services; improve speed, automation, and efficiency.
- Direct a small bench of data specialists: set quality bar, write SOPs, and oversee building out a substantial batch of services.
- Collaborate across design, product, engineering, and service partners to identify high-value fields, refine review processes, and improve data presentation.
- Advise on internal tooling (admin, ingestion, dedup, QA workflows) and identify impactful improvements.
- Document a transferable playbook for the services data processes.

## Requirements
- Working understanding of healthcare services data (ideally mental health): knowledge of consumer decision-making info, data sources, and update frequency.
- Strong data-schema and data-modeling judgment; experience evolving schemas that work in practice; opinions on what not to include. Fluent in Postgres/SQL.
- Instinct for how data fits into a product, reasoning from consumer needs backward.
- Real experience running data operations with human-in-the-loop or annotation components, including directing distributed specialists to a quality bar.
- Experience owning KPIs for data accuracy and freshness, with examples of improvements.
- Quality-systems and taxonomy thinking; experience writing SOPs.
- Comfortable working across product, engineering, and external partners.
- Comfortable moving fast with limited scaffolding.

## Nice-to-Haves
- AI / LLM-assisted curation workflows.
- HL7, FHIR, or other health-data interoperability standards.
- Experience building or maintaining a services dataset or provider directory.

## Compensation
- Hourly rate: $75 - $100, depending on experience.
- Term: Six-month engagement (~32h/week preferred), with possible extension or conversion.
- Fully remote within the US.
