## Job Description

## Key Responsibilities
- Design and execute IRB protocols: Own prospective study protocols from design through IRB approval and enrollment launch; manage consent processes and patient enrollment for high-priority clinical research studies.
- Build cross-functional research infrastructure: Partner with Clinical Operations, Product, and Data teams to create systems for identifying eligible patients, capturing consent, and triggering follow-up data collection.
- Research writing: Draft white papers and conference abstracts; contribute to peer-reviewed publications; manage submission logistics.
- Manage research data and monitor study health: Pull, organize, and QC research datasets; maintain documentation standards and support data integrity for active studies; build and maintain dashboards to track enrollment, flag data quality issues, and monitor study progress.

## Requirements
- Owned the operational execution of prospective clinical research: building a protocol, navigating IRB approval, managing consent and enrollment, and maintaining data quality through follow-up.
- Track record of research writing: authored conference abstracts; can produce clean, accurate drafts efficiently. Manuscript writing experience is a plus.
- Self-directed and fast-orienting: gets up to speed quickly, generates output with minimal hand-holding, comfortable in ambiguity.
- Work well across functions, ideally in digital health or health tech: drive projects with clinical, product, and data teams; translate research requirements into operational asks.
- Operationally data-fluent: comfortable working independently with real-world clinical data (pulling, organizing, QC'ing datasets); using data tools and emerging technologies including AI to build workflows and monitor studies. Basic statistical fluency is a plus.
- Master's degree in a health-related field required; PhD welcome.

## Nice-to-Haves
- Background in nutrition, metabolic health, or cardiometabolic conditions.
- Clinical experience in a healthcare setting.
- Experience building research infrastructure in ambiguous, build-from-scratch environments.
