> Senior and Staff Product Designers will own the patient experience across therapist discovery, insurance benefits, appointment booking, and ongoing care. The role requires strong product craft, systems thinking, experimentation, AI-native prototyping, and 5+ or 8+ years of product design experience depending on level.

## Job Description

## Responsibilities
- Own the patient product experience end to end, from problem framing through launch and iteration.
- Serve as the primary design voice on the team and shape product scope and priority with product managers and engineers.
- Design experiences for finding a provider, understanding insurance benefits, booking appointments, and staying engaged in care.
- Prototype and test ideas quickly with Claude Code, Cursor, or another AI tool.
- Run experiments with clear success metrics, including conversion, retention, and task completion.
- Contribute to the Helix design system and share AI prompts and patterns with the broader design team.
- At the Staff level, lead both 0→1 and at-scale work, design AI-native patient experiences, mentor designers, raise the craft bar, and influence the patient roadmap through research and storytelling.

## Requirements
- Senior: 5+ years of product design experience and a portfolio demonstrating strong craft, structured thinking, and measurable business impact.
- Staff: 8+ years of product design experience and a portfolio demonstrating exceptional craft, systems thinking, and measurable business impact.
- Experience designing consumer- or patient-facing products where experience quality affects access to care.
- Ability to simplify complex, state-heavy problems into coherent experiences.
- Product strategy instincts and the ability to shape roadmaps from customer insight.
- Experience running multi-sprint experiments against real metrics.
- Fluency with AI prototyping tools as a core part of the design practice.
- Staff candidates should have real 0→1 experience, experience designing agentic or AI-powered workflows, and experience elevating other designers through mentorship or critique.
- Motivation to improve access to affordable mental healthcare.

## Compensation & Benefits
- Senior base pay: $180,000–$225,000.
- Staff base pay: $212,000–$265,000.
