## Job Description

## Responsibilities
- Partner with Account Executives on pre-sales activities, including opportunity qualification, demonstrations, proofs of concept, RFPs, design documentation, technical presentations, and enablement sessions.
- Lead the technical and product sale by recommending best-practice solutions and guiding customers on Twilio APIs.
- Conduct discovery to understand customer technical challenges and design, demonstrate, and present solutions.
- Build and deliver interactive, complex customer demonstrations of Twilio Communications Products to technical and nontechnical stakeholders.
- Identify and solve customer and organizational problems.
- Contribute to the Solutions Engineering community through knowledge sharing, demonstration materials, and reusable presentations.
- Mentor less experienced Solutions Engineers.

## Requirements
- 8+ years of pre-sales experience selling complex technical products, or 10+ years of professional experience supporting technical products with customer-facing delivery or consulting experience.
- Excellent communication, presentation, storytelling, and stakeholder-influence skills.
- Ability to understand customers’ communications needs and guide them toward technical solutions.
- Previous software development experience or working knowledge of relevant technical domains.
- Experience in telecom, SIP, contact centers, or security.
- Experience with sales methodologies.
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in engineering, mathematics, computer science, or another technical discipline, or equivalent practical experience.

## Nice-to-haves
- Familiarity with Amazon Web Services, Google Cloud, Microsoft Azure, and cloud application architecture.

## Compensation
- Estimated annual pay ranges vary by eligible location from $138,872 to $192,880 USD.
- The role may include equity, commissions, and benefits such as healthcare insurance, a 401(k), paid sick time, paid personal time off, and paid parental leave.
