## Job Description

## Responsibilities
- Lead, coach, and develop Remarketing Specialists through ongoing training, performance management, and one-on-one mentoring.
- Monitor team and individual performance metrics, providing coaching, development, and corrective action as needed to foster accountability and achieve departmental objectives.
- Conduct regular team meetings focused on training, process updates, performance results, and operational excellence.
- Oversee daily auction remarketing team operations to ensure timely processing and liquidation of repossessed and surrendered collateral.
- Collaborate with the Dealer Direct team and internal stakeholders to streamline the liquidation process, proactively resolving title, lien perfection, and other inventory-related issues to ensure timely liquidation of repossessed assets.
- Manage aged repossessed inventory by monitoring aging trends, identifying liquidation barriers, and driving timely resolution of issues to reduce inventory aging and maximize recovery values.
- Manage complex or escalated dealer, vendor, and auction issues, ensuring prompt and effective resolution.
- Exercise sound judgment and decision-making authority within established approval limits.
- Develop and maintain productive relationships with auction partners, repossession forwarders, dealerships, and third-party vendors.
- Implement and maintain policies, procedures, and controls designed to mitigate risk and support regulatory compliance.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders and leadership to support strategic initiatives and business objectives.
- Identify opportunities to improve operational efficiency, service levels, and recovery performance.
- Develop, document, maintain, and periodically review department procedures and process documentation.
- Partner with leadership to identify and implement training opportunities that enhance employee performance and service quality for internal and external stakeholders.
- Review and approve employee timecards, PTO requests, and attendance records in accordance with company policy.

## Requirements
- 3+ years of leadership experience leading a remarketing team.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience in lieu of a degree.
- Extensive knowledge of remarketing, repossession, collateral liquidation, auction operations, and applicable regulatory requirements.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and web-based business applications.

## Preferred Skills
- Experience managing third-party vendors, auction partners, and repossession forwarders.
- Experience within auto finance, lending, or asset recovery environments.
