Senior Protocol Engineer

Responsibilities

• Apply formal verification methods to smart contracts using tools such as Certora to prove protocol invariants and catch bugs before audit.
• Conduct security reviews of internally developed smart contracts and identify critical vulnerabilities before production.
• Own the bug bounty program end-to-end, including report triage, researcher communication, finding validation, and war-room coordination.
• Develop periphery smart contracts that extend the protocol safely and audibly.
• Research emerging attack vectors, bug classes, and security tooling.
• Represent the company at security-focused conferences and meetups and through published articles or research write-ups.

Requirements

• Master's degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent depth of knowledge.
• 3+ years of experience in smart contract auditing, with a proven track record of identifying critical vulnerabilities.
• Deep knowledge of the Ethereum Virtual Machine, Solidity, and the broader blockchain ecosystem.
• Hands-on experience with formal verification tools such as Certora or equivalent.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to write vulnerability reports and research articles.
• Genuine interest in DeFi and lending protocols.
• Comfort operating in a fast-moving, async-first environment with shifting priorities and ambiguity.
• Strong ownership and autonomy.
