Requires 15+ years of PV cell technology experience and demonstrated production-scale architecture leadership.

## Job Description

## Responsibilities
- Own the selection of Fluidstack’s silicon photovoltaic cell architecture, including TOPCon, HJT, or back-contact, and define the supporting technology roadmap.
- Build loss-analysis and efficiency-entitlement models covering recombination, optical, and resistive losses.
- Direct the technical agenda and priorities of process, device physics, and characterization teams in partnership with the PV Cell Engineering Lead.
- Scope and manage pilot-line partnerships and own technology transfer from pilot to production, including make-versus-partner decisions.
- Define cell procurement specifications and lead supplier co-engineering while the internal production line is developed.

## Requirements
- 15+ years of experience in silicon PV cell technology.
- Experience taking at least one cell architecture from concept through production efficiency targets and owning its roadmap.
- Experience building and defending a complete loss budget and closing efficiency gaps on a shipping cell.
- Experience leading process transfers from pilot to production, including tool matching and yield management.
- Published or patented expertise in passivation, contacts, or device design.
- Experience directing multidisciplinary cell R&D teams spanning process, device physics, and characterization.
- Ability to define and defend efficiency and cost trajectories to executive and manufacturing stakeholders.

## Nice-to-haves
- SunPower/Maxeon, Fraunhofer ISE, ISC Konstanz, or UNSW background.
- FEOC-clean supply-chain experience.
- Back-contact architecture expertise.
- Pilot-line buildout experience.
