## Job Description

## What You'll Do

**Lead and Develop a High-Performing Sales Team**
- Recruit, mentor, and develop a team of Account Executives, Business Development Representatives, and Sales Engineers.
- Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, and high performance.
- Conduct regular coaching sessions, deal reviews, and career development plans.
- Drive the hiring and onboarding of top sales talent as the team scales.
- Develop future sales leadership within the organization.

**Drive Revenue Growth**
- Own and exceed revenue targets for North America.
- Build and maintain a healthy pipeline across multiple sales segments.
- Improve forecasting accuracy and pipeline visibility.
- Ensure rigorous metrics, conversion tracking, and sales performance management.
- Guarantee consistency throughout the sales cycle, from prospecting to close.

**Expand Market Presence**
- Develop and execute strategies to increase enterprise adoption.
- Identify and capitalize on new verticals, industries, and regions.
- Build executive relationships with CISOs, security leaders, and key stakeholders.
- Position Escape as the solution of choice for modern application security teams.

**Build Scalable Go-to-Market Processes**
- Develop and iterate Escape’s North American sales playbook.
- Partner with Marketing to enhance demand generation and pipeline creation.
- Collaborate with Product and Engineering for market and customer feedback.
- Implement best practices for sales efficiency and process repeatability.

**Collaborate Globally**
- Work closely with teams across North America and Europe.
- Align with leadership in Paris, Amsterdam, and the US to drive strategic execution.
- Share competitive insights and contribute to company-wide direction.
- Help determine Escape’s long-term growth path.

## What Success Looks Like

**First 90 Days**
- Develop a deep understanding of Escape's platform, customers, and market landscape.
- Build strong relationships with your team, customers, and leadership.
- Evaluate current pipelines, processes, and sales performance.
- Identify areas for improvement in execution and pipeline generation.
- Establish yourself as a trusted leader and coach.

**Months 3–6**
- Enhance sales processes and team operational rhythms.
- Increase pipeline coverage and improve key conversion metrics.
- Drive targeted growth with key enterprise accounts.
- Strengthen strategic relationships with security and enterprise leaders.
- Deliver consistent revenue results and forecast precision.
- Successfully recruit and onboard talent to support expansion.

**By 12 Months**
- Build a market-leading cybersecurity sales organization for North America.
- Significantly grow Escape’s enterprise customer base.
- Establish scalable, predictable revenue operations for future growth.
- Foster internal leadership and organizational capability.
- Serve as a strategic partner to Escape’s executive team.

## About You

**Required Experience**
- 7+ years of B2B technology sales with a consistent record of revenue achievement.
- 3+ years of sales leadership managing quota-carrying teams.
- Experience building and scaling sales teams in high-growth startups or scale-ups.
- Ability to consistently exceed revenue targets through leadership and execution.
- Track record leading teams and closing enterprise deals (ACV $50K+).
- Skilled at managing complex sales cycles involving technical, security, procurement, and legal evaluations.
- Strong knowledge of cybersecurity, application security, DevSecOps, or developer-focused platforms.
- Exceptional communication and coaching skills.
- Experience collaborating across global teams and multiple time zones.

**Preferred Qualifications**
- Experience selling application security, DevSecOps, cloud security, or developer tools.
- Background in Series A/B or rapidly scaling tech environments.
- Proven ability to hire, develop, and retain top sales talent.
- Consistent overachievement (150%+ quota) in prior leadership or IC roles.
- Familiarity with modern sales methodologies and sales operations best practices.
- Experience building new markets or business units from scratch.
