## Job Description

## Responsibilities
- Own the vision, strategy, roadmap, and execution for Book with AI across Hotels, Rental Cars, and Rail.
- Own the end-to-end journey from intent understanding, search, ranking, recommendations, policy and personalization, comparison, contract, checkout, and booking through post-booking support and recovery.
- Define a coherent cross-line-of-business experience for planning and booking multiple trip components.
- Improve booking completion, conversion, time to book, user effort, CSAT, trust, and repeat usage.
- Lead experimentation across conversational flows, recommendations, search, and booking surfaces with measurable success criteria.
- Partner with AI, ML, data, engineering, design, travel operations, support, and adjacent product teams.
- Improve intent understanding, ranking, recommendations, personalization, tool orchestration, and conversational and UI experiences.
- Review real conversations, lead bug bashes, interpret evaluation results, investigate production issues, and validate fixes.
- Define evaluation criteria for AI behavior, including task completion, factual accuracy, policy compliance, tool and UI usage, response quality, latency, and failure recovery.
- Communicate product decisions, trade-offs, status, risks, and learnings to stakeholders and leadership.
- Represent customer needs and ensure transparency around limitations, unsupported requests, changing prices, availability, and booking status.

## Requirements
- 4+ years of product management experience with a record of owning and shipping customer-facing products.
- Experience owning a complex product or product area end to end, including strategy, discovery, prioritization, execution, launch, and measurement.
- Strong product judgment balancing customer value, business impact, technical complexity, reliability, and speed.
- Experience improving measurable outcomes such as conversion, task completion, engagement, retention, or customer satisfaction.
- Excellent written and verbal communication and cross-functional stakeholder alignment skills.
- Data-informed decision-making combined with qualitative judgment and customer empathy.
- Curiosity about AI products and ability to reason about probabilistic systems, failure modes, evaluation, guardrails, and human trust.
- Practical, ownership-oriented approach to clarifying problems and driving resolution.

## Nice to Have
- Experience building AI assistants, conversational products, recommendation systems, search experiences, or agentic workflows.
- Experience defining or using LLM evaluations, quality rubrics, production monitoring, or experimentation frameworks.
