About the job

Responsibilities

  • Drive full adoption and expansion with key customers throughout the customer lifecycle.
  • Provide technical support and professional services for customers implementing, operating, and maintaining Teleport.
  • Discuss architecture plans and communicate deployment best practices during onboarding.
  • Triage and debug technical issues, identify technical blockers, and lead their resolution through chat, tickets, and meetings.
  • Maintain customer satisfaction throughout the onboarding process.
  • Design customer architectures and advocate for best practices during cloud and Kubernetes deployments.
  • Lead technical discussions during customer onboarding calls as the primary technical point of contact.
  • Create and maintain cloud and Kubernetes environments for feature demonstrations.
  • Deploy, test, and validate new features and customer issues in Kubernetes, cloud, and Linux environments.
  • Work with Product and Development to report and triage customer escalations.
  • Plan, build, and maintain training for new users to support successful migration.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in customer-facing software onboarding, software services, solution architecting, or system administration roles.
  • Linux administration skills.
  • Hands-on experience with a major public cloud provider: AWS, Google Cloud, or Azure.
  • Strong understanding of Kubernetes and prior hands-on experience.
  • Experience with SSH, PKI, two-factor authentication, single sign-on using SAML or OIDC, and RBAC.
  • Exceptional software troubleshooting, testing, and debugging skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work autonomously, remain security-minded, understand customer and business needs, and adapt to change.

  • AWS, Google Cloud, or Azure certification.
  • Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA) or Certified Kubernetes Application Developer (CKAD) certification.
