## Job Description

## What you'll be doing
- Build Basis's sales enablement function from the ground up
- Design the onboarding and ramp program for new reps
- Codify playbooks and messaging
- Build content, training, and certification programs
- Partner with sales leadership, marketing, product, and RevOps to keep reps current on product and buyer
- Own enablement tooling and content library
- Run training and coaching cadences
- Sharpen discovery and demo motions
- Equip team with competitive and objection-handling resources
- Measure enablement effectiveness through ramp time, win rates, and rep productivity

## What you'll bring
- 5+ years in sales enablement, sales training, or quota-carrying / sales-adjacent role at a B2B software company
- Experience building or scaling an enablement function
- Track record designing onboarding, ramp, and ongoing training programs that improved seller productivity
- Strong instincts for sales messaging and playbook development
- Ability to translate complex products into clear, sellable narratives
- Ability to partner cross-functionally with sales, marketing, product, and RevOps leadership
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience
- Ability to work in office in Manhattan 5 days per week

## What we'd love to see
- Finance experience (accounting, FP&A, investment banking, private equity, or venture capital)
- Enablement experience for teams selling accounting/finance software into the office of the CFO
- Startup experience at high-growth companies during scale phases
- Familiarity with modern enablement and sales tooling (CRM, enablement platforms, conversation intelligence)
