## Job Description

## Responsibilities
- Own the close for assigned areas, including preparing journal entries, account reconciliations, and flux analyses; ensure GL-to-subledger integrity.
- Manage key general ledger cycles, including cash, accruals, fixed assets, and deferred revenue, with clean rollforwards and documentation.
- Drive cutoffs and analytics by coordinating with AP, AR, Payroll, Procurement, and FP&A on accruals and budget-to-actuals; propose data-driven adjustments.
- Identify control risks, gaps, and inefficiencies and drive solutions to improve audit readiness.
- Improve processes and tools by standardizing templates, automating reconciliations, and streamlining the close calendar.

## Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- CPA or CPA eligibility.
- 2+ years of progressive accounting experience in public accounting, such as a Big Four or national firm, and/or a high-growth operating environment.
- Proficiency with general ledgers, subledgers, and reconciliation tools such as FloQast.
- Strong Excel and Google Sheets skills.
- Working knowledge of US GAAP and internal controls.
- Clear communication, ownership, collaboration, attention to detail, and problem-solving skills.
