## Job Description

## Responsibilities
- Embed with product and engineering teams to review features, integrations, and launches before release, providing practical go/no-go guidance.
- Advise on privacy and AI issues, including data use, consent, disclosures, opt-outs, deletion controls, and product design.
- Own product-facing feature, beta, partner, and freelancer terms, user communications for product changes, and contributions to Terms of Service updates.
- Track EU AI Act transparency and content-marking obligations and map requirements to the product roadmap.
- Support model-provider negotiations, including retention limits and training restrictions.
- Advise on marketing claims, consumer protection, user-generated content, moderation, and intermediary liability across the EEA and US.
- Support enterprise deals by advising on training, retention, intellectual property ownership, and hosting liability.
- Build self-service legal guidance, launch checklists, and AI agents to automate repeatable reviews.

## Requirements
- Law degree and qualification in a major jurisdiction, including an EU member state, the UK, or the US.
- 3–6 years of legal practice experience, including counseling product or technology teams at or for a consumer-facing technology or SaaS company.
- Experience clearing products used at scale and making practical risk decisions under deadlines.
- Hands-on experience applying GDPR in a live product, including consent, data use, and deletion.
- Experience handling AI legal issues such as training data, provider terms, or transparency obligations.
- Strong knowledge of consumer protection, content, and intermediary liability.
- Fluent English; Swedish is not required.
- Comfortable with occasional US-hours overlap.

## Nice-to-haves
- Platform or marketplace experience.
- Open-source licensing knowledge, including copyleft and patent exposure.
- Knowledge of the DSA, e-Privacy, EEA consumer law, or equivalent US regulations.
- Experience building with new technology or Lovable.
