Responsibilities
- Build systems that accelerate internal development and help the company build and ship confidently using shared patterns.
- Develop tooling for remote development environments, internal tools and networking, shared AI tools, and related developer-platform systems.
- Identify opportunities to improve the broader organization through proactive, generalist engineering.
- Evaluate multiple solutions and use sound judgment to choose approaches suited to the organization’s people and context.
- Take a customer-focused approach to testing and gathering feedback from internal users.
- Teach and enable other engineers.
Requirements
- 7+ years of experience building software.
- Experience with AWS.
- Confidence with general networking, security, and infrastructure concepts.
- Infrastructure and networking experience sufficient to design effective, simple solutions.
- Intuition and informed opinions about developer workflows and developer experience.
- A proactive, experienced, generalist engineering approach.
Nice to Have
- Expertise and a substantial track record building testing systems, especially for data-rich environments.
- An advanced personal AI development workflow.
Compensation
- CAD 210,000–320,000.
