## Job Description

## Responsibilities
- Partner with the Sales team to articulate the Datadog value proposition, vision, and strategy to customers.
- Own technical customer engagement during trials, communicate product value, and resolve identified issues or concerns.
- Technically close complex opportunities using competitive knowledge, technical skill, and credibility.
- Deliver product and technical briefings and presentations to potential clients.
- Maintain accurate CRM notes and feedback about customer wins and losses.
- Communicate with customers and business and technical teams about product feedback and the competitive landscape.

## Requirements
- Passion for educating customers about observability risks and building and executing evaluation plans.
- Strong written and oral communication skills, including the ability to articulate business benefits and technical advantages.
- Programming or scripting experience with Java, Python, Ruby, Go, Node.js, PHP, or .NET.
- At least 3 years of experience in Sales Engineering or DevOps Engineering.
- Ability to sit for up to 4 hours while traveling to and from client sites.
- Ability to travel by car, train, or air up to 45% of the time.
