Associate Data Engineer
Associate Data Engineer will build and maintain production data pipelines across ingestion, orchestration, transformation, and modeling. The role is designed for a 2027 college graduate with Python, SQL, database fundamentals, and a strong willingness to learn.

Responsibilities
- Ship production data pipeline code serving real stakeholders.
- Build across ingestion, orchestration, and data modeling using Python, Airflow, dbt, and Snowflake.
- Own data pipelines end-to-end, from design through deployment.
- Debug production data issues, refactor transformations, and improve reliability.
- Learn infrastructure as code with Terraform and AWS cloud services.
- Participate in code reviews, architecture discussions, and data modeling decisions.
- Design pipelines, write production code, and apply data engineering best practices.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Graduation between December 2026 and June 2027.
- Solid fundamentals in programming, data structures, and databases.
- Working knowledge of Python and SQL.
- Projects demonstrating practical development experience, such as internships, personal projects, hackathons, or open-source contributions.
- Willingness to learn secure and compliant practices for handling PHI/PII and access controls.
- Strong problem-solving, communication, collaboration, and learning skills.
- Applicants must be based in the United States.
Nice-to-Haves
- Exposure to Airflow, dbt, Snowflake, or another cloud data warehouse.
- Familiarity with Terraform, Docker, or AWS/GCP.
- Experience working with APIs and semi-structured data.
Compensation and Benefits
- In-person role in the Redwood City office, three days per week.
