Senior Associate, Account Management

Responsibilities

• Develop and launch new solutions for large and complex global freight forwarding clients.
• Accelerate growth across Flexport services, including air, ocean, domestic and cross-border logistics, trade advisory, customs, and purchase order management.
• Partner with global teams in North America, Europe, and Asia to identify expansion opportunities within existing accounts.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with ocean, air, and logistics operations; procurement; implementation; legal; industry subject-matter experts; and trade and financial services teams to develop and execute client strategies.
• Align with management-level customer contacts and maintain relationships with critical stakeholders at major brands.
• Stay informed about industry and supply chain developments and proactively educate and support clients through change.
• Travel to other provinces in the South to visit clients and factories as needed.

Requirements

• 5+ years of client-facing experience; logistics, freight forwarding, or supply chain experience strongly preferred.
• Entrepreneurial mindset with a track record of delivering innovation and driving results.
• Experience working in complex global team matrices to achieve solutions and results globally.
• Experience building local and global client relationships and using them to grow business partnerships.
• Strategic thinking, disciplined planning, and the ability to operationalize strategic plans.
• Strong organizational skills.
• Effective written and verbal communication, including strong English proficiency for aligning global stakeholders.
• Strong negotiation and problem-solving skills.
• Highly collaborative, with a track record of building strong internal and external relationships.
• High integrity and ethics, aligned with company values.
• Compliance-first mindset in a heavily regulated industry.
• Ability to work from the Ho Chi Minh office in Tan Binh district.
