## Job Description

## Responsibilities
- Own HubSpot marketing systems, including segments, properties, workflows, forms, campaign tracking, and integrations.
- Improve search and answer-engine visibility through technical SEO, on-page optimization, structured data, site architecture, internal linking, backlinks, listings, and optimization for ChatGPT, Perplexity, and Google AI Overviews.
- Manage email subscriptions, opt-in processes, segmentation, hygiene, deliverability, newsletters, KPIs, and reporting.
- Publish and distribute blog content through syndication, communities, newsletters, and cross-posting.
- Manage social channels, repurpose long-form content, select effective channels, and grow reach.
- Track and act on data from GA4, PostHog, Google Search Console, HubSpot, OpenSEO, and related tools.
- Manage webinars and online events end to end, including platforms, registration, promotion, reminders, follow-up, and reporting.
- Coordinate conference and meetup logistics in North America, Europe, and occasionally India, including vendors, shipping, schedules, promotion, lead capture, and follow-up.
- Use agentic AI tools, skills, and scheduled automations to scale marketing output.
- Potentially grow into leading a small team as the organization scales.

## Requirements
- 4+ years of digital marketing experience; 6 years preferred.
- Meaningful experience in startups or small, multi-channel marketing teams.
- Hands-on ownership and configuration of marketing automation tools.
- Experience selecting or implementing an email service provider, migrating contact databases, building compliant opt-in flows, and diagnosing deliverability issues.
- Hands-on technical SEO experience, including schema, site architecture, crawl health, index health, and answer-engine optimization.
- Fluency with GA4, Google Search Console, HubSpot, and Ahrefs, Semrush, OpenSEO, or equivalent tools.
- Practical experience building and running workflows and automations with agentic AI tools.
- Strong operational reliability for recurring, deadline-sensitive work.
- Reasonable working-hour overlap with teams in India and the United States.

## Nice to Have
- Paid acquisition experience with Google Ads, LinkedIn, or retargeting.
- Experience marketing to technical or developer audiences or within the data ecosystem.
- Familiarity with git-based publishing workflows, Markdown, and pull requests.
- Ability to lightly edit technical content written by others.
- Experience briefing and managing external agencies or contractors.
- Familiarity with software development and data engineering.
