## Job Description

## Responsibilities
- Own Kaizen’s events strategy end-to-end, including the annual calendar, budget, conference portfolio, sponsorship decisions, and measurement.
- Evaluate federal conferences and sponsorships; negotiate sponsorship levels, booth placement, and vendor agreements.
- Lead booth design, demo staging, collateral, swag, vendors, and production partners.
- Run field marketing alongside sales, including account targeting, pre-event outreach, meeting scheduling, staffing, travel, and follow-up.
- Produce executive dinners, agency roundtables, closed-door briefings, and other satellite events around major conferences.
- Secure leadership speaking opportunities, panel placements, awards, photography, video, and customer-story capture.
- Scope and build Kaizen-hosted summits, dinner series, and recurring briefings.
- Manage event spend and reporting with Business Operations, tying activity to pipeline, qualified meetings, and cost per meeting.
- Work with Legal to ensure programs comply with federal, state, and local ethics, gift, and hospitality rules.

## Requirements
- 4–10 years of experience in events, experiential marketing, or field marketing.
- Direct ownership of event strategy and budgets, not only execution.
- Experience managing a conference circuit, including show selection, sponsorship valuation, booth production, and event operations.
- Experience partnering with sales on targeting and follow-up and being measured against pipeline.
- Experience producing owned events such as dinners, roundtables, or summits.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including invitations, event briefs, run-of-show documents, and executive preparation.
- Sound judgment under time pressure and public visibility.
- Ability to operate with high autonomy in ambiguous, fast-moving environments.

## Nice-to-haves
- Experience with federal or public-sector buyers.
- Relationships with Washington venues, event producers, or association organizers.
- Familiarity with federal ethics rules and public-sector hospitality requirements.
- Experience with executive audiences, including agency CIOs, contracting officers, and senior military leaders.
- Comfort using AI tools in daily workflows.

## Compensation and Benefits
- $100,000–$140,000 annual salary.
