## Job Description

## Responsibilities

### Application and Tooling Development
- Build robust, interactive internal applications, custom front-end workflows, and automations using platforms such as Retool, Vercel, Cursor, or custom web applications.
- Use JavaScript and Python to develop internal tools and workflows.

### Data Pipeline Architecture
- Design, write, and optimize complex SQL queries and data models to extract, manipulate, and aggregate data.
- Architect and maintain reliable ETL pipelines supporting operational scaling and AI/LLM integrations.

### UI/UX Design and Development
- Design intuitive, reliable UI/UX workflows that reduce manual effort for non-technical operators.
- Simplify operational complexity without sacrificing capability.

### Technical Governance and CI/CD
- Implement and follow version-control and deployment pipelines, including Git, GitHub pull requests, and development-to-release environments.
- Ensure data products and front-end tools meet engineering quality-assurance standards.

### Systems Implementation
- Independently manage implementation of system processes.
- Enable automated workflows and cron jobs.
- Set up centralized, scalable operational databases and applications.

### Database and Schema Design
- Apply normalization, indexing, and key constraints when building datasets or proposing schema changes.
- Optimize data-warehouse performance.

### Process Automation
- Develop automated scripts, webhooks, and API integrations that connect disparate data sources.
- Streamline cross-functional business operations without manual oversight.

### Cross-Functional Strategy
- Act as a technical liaison between operations, product, and core data engineering teams.
- Consolidate ambient data streams and enforce system reliability.

## Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, Data Science, or a closely related technical field.
- 3+ years of professional experience in software engineering with an analytics focus, analytics engineering, or technical operations.
- Advanced proficiency in SQL and relational database architecture.
- Strong programming skills in JavaScript and Python.
- Experience building full-stack web solutions, APIs, or internal tooling.
- Hands-on experience with Git and CI/CD workflows.
- Experience moving beyond basic dashboards to build functional, data-driven applications or automated infrastructure.
- Systems-level thinking and a strong commitment to data accuracy, clean code, and technical documentation.
- Excellent communication skills for bridging technical execution and business strategy.
- A proactive approach to resolving operational bottlenecks and standardizing best practices.
- Ability to translate ambiguous operational requests into precise technical execution in a fast-paced environment.

## Nice to Have
- Experience with internal tool builders such as Retool.
- Experience with modern deployment platforms such as Vercel.

## Work Details
- Night shift: 10:00 pm–7:00 am BST.
- Monday to Friday.
