## Job Description

## Responsibilities
- Lead motion work end-to-end, from concepts, storyboards, style frames, and animatics through final delivery.
- Create motion assets for brand campaigns, launch videos, web and digital experiences, and in-product moments such as micro-interactions and onboarding.
- Apply expert timing, easing, visual storytelling, attention to detail, and brand consistency.
- Build motion templates and reusable animation assets for use across teams.
- Develop and enforce motion design guidelines and brand standards.
- Use AI-assisted workflows to accelerate production while maintaining quality.
- Partner with marketing, web development, and product design teams across programs and channels.
- Present design rationale to peers, stakeholders, and senior executives.
- Manage multiple projects, prioritize effectively, and take ownership of delivery.
- Direct contractor or freelance creative work.

## Requirements
- 6+ years of in-house or agency experience focused on design and motion graphics or animation.
- Strong design point of view and high craft standards.
- Portfolio or reel demonstrating motion craft, timing, storytelling, and design direction.
- Fluency in After Effects, Figma, Adobe Creative Cloud, and other creative tools.
- Experience using AI-assisted creative tools.
- Systems-minded approach to motion templates and reusable assets.
- Experience developing motion or brand standards.
- Comfortable working in fast-moving, ambiguous environments.

## Compensation and Benefits
- Base salary range: **$111,000–$130,000 USD** for San Francisco, California.
