## Job Description

## Responsibilities
- Build AI agents and automations end-to-end, from scoping through deployment and ongoing maintenance.
- Write production Python code integrating LLM APIs, including prompt construction, response handling, context management, and tool use.
- Connect AI tools to Slack, Jira, HubSpot, and Snowflake through APIs, handling authentication, rate limits, errors, and logging.
- Monitor deployed agents, track quality metrics, triage failures, and ship improvements based on usage data.
- Manage human reinforcement operations, including reviewing agent outputs, maintaining feedback loops, and tuning agent behavior.
- Build evaluation harnesses that measure agent quality and detect regressions.
- Create reusable components, development patterns, and documentation.
- Communicate clearly with technical and non-technical stakeholders.

## Requirements
- 2–5 years of professional experience in software engineering, AI engineering, or a related technical role.
- Production experience writing Python for tools, integrations, automations, or shipped products.
- Practical experience with LLM APIs, prompt construction, context windows, token economics, and tool-use patterns.
- Experience integrating systems through APIs, including authentication, rate limits, and edge-case handling.
- Ability to decompose complex problems into clean components with well-defined interfaces.
- Strong testing, monitoring, quality, and operational-ownership mindset.
- Ability to learn new frameworks, APIs, and domains quickly.
- Clean, documented, maintainable code.

## Nice-to-haves
- Experience shipping production AI agents.
- Experience building automated evaluation and quality-scoring systems.
- Experience with human feedback or reinforcement workflows.
- Experience integrating Slack, Jira, HubSpot, or Snowflake.
