## Job Description

## Responsibilities
- Define the future state of data infrastructure, set architectural direction, and establish organization-wide data standards.
- Design highly scalable and optimized data models.
- Lead complex, multi-functional initiatives focused on data quality governance and pipeline maturity.
- Influence technology choices, mentor engineers, and act as technical interface with senior stakeholders.

## Requirements
- 9+ years of experience in data engineering, architecting and shipping large-scale data products.
- Expert proficiency in Snowflake, dbt, Apache Airflow, and Python; define best practices and patterns.
- Deep mastery of advanced data modeling techniques for production systems.
- Proven architectural ownership, defining technical roadmaps and managing technical debt across teams.
- Strong track record of mentoring and elevating engineering skills of data engineers.
- 2+ years of marketplace or two-sided platform experience (preferred).

## Compensation & Benefits
**Base pay range:** $212,000 - $265,000 (depending on qualifications, experience, location).
