Client Director
Own the long-term commercial strategy, executive relationships, and ARR expansion for Celonis’s Chevron account. The role requires 12+ years in enterprise SaaS or strategic account management, oil and gas expertise, C-suite credibility, and experience leading complex transformation and multi-year expansion cycles.

Responsibilities
- Own the commercial relationship as the primary executive contact across the C-suite, including CEOs, CFOs, CSCOs, COOs, and CIOs.
- Develop and execute expansion roadmaps across business units, geographies, use cases, and platform capabilities to drive ARR and NRR growth.
- Lead negotiations for expansions, renewals, and multi-year enterprise agreements with Deal Desk and Legal.
- Translate adoption milestones and realized value into renewal confidence and expansion urgency with Client Value Partners and Value Engineering.
- Lead forward-looking, commercially anchored executive business reviews.
- Position Celonis as a strategic platform within the customer’s AI strategy, connecting Process Intelligence with LLM, automation, and agentic AI investments.
- Identify and mitigate commercial risks, including sponsor departures, competitive displacement, implementation fatigue, and budget consolidation.
- Maintain account plans, pipeline strategy, growth-target coverage, and forecast accuracy across a complex account set.
- Codify account strategies and transformation approaches into reusable assets for the Strategic Accounts practice.
- Collaborate with value engineering, professional services, partners, Growth, Industry, and Transformation teams.
Requirements
- 12+ years of experience in enterprise SaaS sales or strategic account management.
- At least 5 years managing accounts with $5M+ ARR.
- Deep oil and gas industry expertise.
- Demonstrated success growing ARR within named accounts over multi-year periods.
- Executive presence and C-suite credibility with CFOs, COOs, and CIOs.
- Experience navigating ERP consolidations, cloud migrations, M&A, and organizational restructuring.
- Expertise in ROI modeling, TCO analysis, and value benchmarking.
- Ability to manage 12–24+ month expansion cycles and complex stakeholder groups.
- Experience with team-selling models involving value engineering, professional services, partners, and extended go-to-market teams.
Nice to Have
- Direct experience with Chevron.
- Background in ERP, supply chain, finance transformation, or AI-native enterprise platforms.
- Familiarity with agentic AI, automation, or intelligent process orchestration.
