## Job Description

## What You'll Do
- Build and own the intake-to-PO lifecycle: design and launch intake triage, approval matrices, vendor onboarding, PO creation, and fast-buy paths (P-card programs, catalogs, self-service purchasing); run day-to-day, identify bottlenecks, and drive resolutions across business, finance, legal, security, and IT with minimal oversight.
- Re-architect procurement with AI: identify opportunities for AI agents, automation, and modern tooling to replace manual work; build, deploy, iterate, verify AI output rigorously, anticipate failure modes, and set standards for trustworthy vs unreliable output.
- Partner with Accounts Payable: support vendor master data quality, PO accuracy, and troubleshoot disputes upstream.
- Act as subject-matter expert: provide guidance on procurement tools, policy, and compliance to stakeholders and vendors; exercise business judgment on exceptions; create and maintain training materials and knowledge-base content.
- Build and maintain dashboards and reports tracking procurement performance, surfacing trends/anomalies, and translating data into narratives for leadership.
- Lead or support cross-functional change management for new processes and tooling; represent Procurement in cross-functional initiatives.

## What We're Looking For
- 4-8 years of experience in procurement operations, intake-to-PO processes, or analytically rigorous operations role at a high-growth tech company.
- Direct experience building procurement processes from zero (intake, approval matrices, vendor onboarding).
- Deep familiarity with procurement/P2P tooling (e.g. Ramp, Ironclad, Zip or similar) and bias toward automation.
- Comfort building with and evaluating AI tools and agents, with rigor to verify output.
- Working knowledge of AP and payment processes.
- Strong business judgment for resolving exceptions and managing ambiguity.
- Builder's mindset focused on designing scalable systems.
- Excellent stakeholder communication skills.
- Can-do attitude.

## Compensation and Benefits
- Base cash compensation: $160,000-$220,000
