AI Search is live on Hotfix

AI Search is live on Hotfix. You type the role the way you'd describe it. Hotfix parses that into filters, searches the live board, and shows what it read so you can correct anything it got wrong.

You already know the job. A manager who still writes code. Backend at a company that ships its own product. ML that goes to production, not a research role. A filter can hold Remote and a salary floor. It cannot hold any of that.

Try it on the Jobs page. Create an alert when the list looks right. Jobs you watch stay organized under Watching, Applied, and Closed on your Watchlist. Details on daily allowance and refinements are in AI Search help.

Standard search does not change. Keyword search and Watch stay free.

How AI Search works

Write it like you'd say it. Hard limits and soft preferences can live in the same sentence: "Engineering manager roles where I'd still write code, ideally at a company building developer tools." "Remote backend at a smaller product company. No crypto or consulting." Active searches look at jobs posted in the last 30 days unless you ask for a different window.

See what we parsed. Structured criteria sit in a readout above the results: function, seniority, location, salary, funding stage, and the rest of the set Hotfix took from your sentence. That bar is a readout, not a filter panel you edit by hand. Soft preferences still shape ranking. They do not appear as separate chips. If something is wrong, say so in the next line. Nothing is applied behind your back.

Newest first, or best match. Results default to newest. Best match reorders that same set by closeness to what you asked for. Same listings as regular search. Nothing generated.

Keep talking. After the first result, the composer becomes a refinement field. "No consulting." "More remote." "Skip Series A." Each follow-up line revises the query. You do not rebuild the filters or start over.

Create alert. When the list looks right, create an alert. Matching runs on the structured criteria Hotfix extracted, and your original prompt is kept so you can see what you asked for. New jobs that match arrive without searching again.

That is the time save: less clicking, a shorter list of jobs you actually meant.

The jobs are real

AI Search only ranks jobs that already exist on Hotfix. It does not generate jobs. It does not invent companies. Resume data is not used to interpret the prompt, pick jobs, rank them, or decide what alerts match.

A closed job stays readable on your Watchlist. That does not turn AI Search into a search of jobs that are gone.
